BLOOM: Grow Where You Are Planted Week One

Hi there! You can find the outline and YouTube video below! May it equip and encourage you to BLOOM where you are planted and to trust God with the process. Have a wonderful day! Outline:  Bloom: Grow Where You Are Planted Week One YouTube session:  BLOOM: Grow Where Your Are Planted Week One In Christ, Mackenzie Ephesians 3:20

Remind me, dear LORD.

Where to start. Revival, spiritual amnesia, car accidents, salvation, fellowship, discouragement, temptation, joy, and all of the above. Let's start with our special guests! Mrs. Esha's family from Texas sang in our church on Sunday! Their family is always a blessing to have around. The fellowship is always so sweet. I love getting together with other people who love the Lord and have a love for others. It's so rejuvenating! Bro. Bobby Harjo Family, Missionaries to the Navajo Indians, ministered in our church on Sunday as well. They have been serving the Lord and spreading the gospel there in the Four Corners area since 2001. Here's a video of their ministry:  Reaching the Navajo They were a huge blessing! Bro. Harjo preached for all our services that day. The messages were so challenging and a good reminder that I don't come to church to worship God to see what I can get out of it or experience, but to worship God for who He is and what He has alrea...

Yielding to God's Design: Part Two

Hey everyone! We hope you enjoy this second part of last week’s talk! We wrap up our conversation talking about trusting God with children and knowing that sometimes there will be hurt that we cannot stop and shouldn’t stop. God uses all experiences of life to draw us into a closer fellowship with Him. A special thanks to my mom for taking the time to do this video with me! Have a blessed weekend everyone!! Here's the link:  Yielding to God's Design: Part Two To Know HIM, Mackenzie  Philippians 3:10 " That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;"

Yielding to God's Design: Part One

Hey everyone! We’ve got a new video on my YouTube channel titled: Yielding to God’s Design: Part One . The special guest was my mom, Pam Knouf! We talked about being faithful in the little things and allowing God to design your family/life. I actually learned some details today that I didn’t even know! I may have to watch this video again when I have a family of my own! We pray it’s a blessing and I plan to post “Yielding to God’s Design: Part Two” next week! Check out my mom’s blog: momoftenkids.blogspot.com To know Him, Mackenzie Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Holiness in the mundane

Hi everyone! Click here to watch our most recent video: Holiness in the mundane Justina and I originally were going to talk about Mother's Day and a few other things. We weren't completely sure what the topic was going to be, but as you watch the video you will see that it kinda flowed quite nicely with what God put on our hearts as we talked. We do pray its a blessing! P.S. The reference we were referring to was 1 Corinthians 10:31. :) To know Him more, Mackenzie  Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

In over my head: what I have learned from a breakup

This topic is rather sensitive, but I know that there are others out there who have had heart breaks, disappointments, and set backs. I do not wish to withhold anything that has been beneficial to me. This post is in no way to be a replacement from you going straight to the Word of God. God's Word and His leading gives the ultimate comfort and guidance. I just want to share what God gave me through His Word and also through fellow Christians who gave biblical advice during my time of hurt. Also, please click the link "set free" if you would like to know more on how you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ: Set Free Break-ups..... It's definitely a process. I don't know about you, but when you realize that something has ended that you were ready to throw your entire being into... it hurts. Never have I felt a physical pain in my heart until that week. I literally was pressing on my chest to try and ease the pain. I was sitting on a rocking chair...

Making time for fun!

Today was such a good reminder that God gives us days of refreshment in the midst of a season full of hard work, conflict, and duties that don’t seem to lessen.  That’s not to say that I’m not working or skipping ministry on these days of refreshment, but it means that I do something out of the ordinary that I would typically say that I’m too tired to do or my “to do” list is too long.  Nolan had suggested going to see Captain Marvel after we went out inviting people to church. I had to babysit that evening, but I went ahead and made it work. I’m glad I did! I had a great time taking the kids to get pizza and eating in front of the fountain of life before the movie. I need to stop under estimating time out in the community with friends, family, and nature. It’s so rejuvenating and it also pulls me out of a deep hole of stress that I sometimes allow myself to go in to.  Ultimately, a quiet morning with God is what changes everything! Prayer and Go...
