Let's Help Beckey!

I wanted to just give you guys a little encouragement as to why it would make me so happy if you could donate to Beckey. I have had the pleasure to work with Beckey for almost two years now and she has literally been a "sent from God" friend. She has been(and continues to be) my ear and encouragement through my hard times and good times. She is a hard worker, loves to laugh, and Beckey always loves to hear the crazy stories I have to tell. We love to laugh. We have cried. We have made some good memories together.  I also know Beckey and I share a wonderful Heavenly Father who will always take care of His children.  She loves her customers and they love her. Beckey doesn't hesitate to give, and she continues to help others. The word "no" is not in her vocabulary. :-)      She has been through some dark times with the loss of her husband, Bill. She is one strong little lady, and I personally can't imagine losing a loved one and continuing with wo...

Freedom's Way Baptist Church

My parents decided to attend a church in Santa Clarita on our to Washington. It was an absolute blessing to be a part of Freedom's Way Baptist Church today! The people were very welcoming to my family, and their love for the Lord was evident. So many smiling faces, beautiful singing, and sweet fellowship.  I love visiting other churches and getting ideas for our own church back in Cathedral City. It's always fun for me! :)  Both messages for Sunday school and the main service this morning was a blessing and a conviction. God was working on my heart this morning about being bold with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how I am a "debtor" to all the lost. The lost deserves to know what I know and I need to tell them. Jesus Christ SAVES and FREE'S us from the bondage of sin and Hell! That is something to share with everyone and yet, I can get so distracted. Don't allow the devil to distract you.  "Romans 1: 14  I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbaria...

How to have purity in a "Sex Crazed" world.

I'm not an expert at this but I would like to share what I have learned and what has helped me.  I am here to say THERE IS HOPE. Seriously though.... Whether you are a virgin or not...it is possible to maintain purity physically and mentally in a world where everything is centered around sex. I know that more people struggle with the sexual desires that ARE natural than what most people would like to admit. It's natural.... but the worst thing you can do to yourself is feed your sexual desires outside of Marriage. It will lead you down a road you really don't want to go down. God created sex. It is supposed to be wonderful and a gift... but in God's timing. I will never forget what a preacher said,  "You can't get victory over sexual desires because they are natural. You will always have them. You have to learn to MAINTAIN them."  If you're the type to think you are too far gone.... Your mind is just wrapped around sex ...or you've experienced too ...

VBS 2016

Vacation Bible School was definitely a lot of fun with the theme Hailey chose. She wanted to do a "Super Hero" theme with a city feel atmosphere. It was so cute and creative with everything Hailey put together. Her talents keep me completely impressed all the time! I am so thankful she took charge of decorations, skit videos, and flyers. She did a far greater job than I would have ever did. It is so exciting to see how my siblings are discovering, growing, and forming their talents God has given them and using them for God. It's a blessing. A real joy.      My brother, Noah(who has been called to preach), was our speaker for VBS and he did a great job. His humbleness was there. He asked people to pray that God would use each message for each night. His sermons spoke to my heart. Noah spoke on prayer, the bible, and used our theme verse(Matthew  5:16 ) for the last night and it was great!  On the note of those that have helped..... My best friend, Priscilla and m...

When God sent an Angel my way.

I'm still not sure as to who I talked to, but one thing is for sure... I needed it.  It was a Wednesday, October, 7, 2015. One of my hardest, most humiliating days I've had so far. It had to do with me and a total bad call on my part. It ended with people at work seeing me cry(which I hate) and me leaving work feeling so stupid and simply beating myself up for a situation that was over with and taken care of. I left work wanting to go straight home and cry my eyes out. Fortunately, for me I had to stop and get gas. There as I was pumping my gas I was throwing my own pity party wishing I had someone to talk to. As I was finishing up I saw someone walking towards me but couldn't see who it was due to the sun shining from the direction this person was coming from. When he finally made it up to my car I was already on guard and irritated that someone was about bother me. He asked me for some money for food and so I reached in my car and got some money and a tract from my church...

To Know God 💗

"To know God is to love God, to love God is to trust God, to trust God is to obey God, and to obey God is to be blessed" -Adrian Rogers  Psalm  9: 10  "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." I enjoy very much listening to Bro. Adrian Rogers on my podcast app. Let me encourage you to download his podcasts! They have been such a blessing to me and for my walk with God.  Bro. Roger's love for God is so evident in the sermons he preaches. You can tell just by the way he talks about God that he has a personal and close relationship with God. This quote from one of his sermons was SO eye opening for me. I never thought of my relationship with God this way before.  Bro. Adrian Rogers explained that you can't truly say you love a stranger, because you know nothing of that person to love them for. Just like we have reasons why we love those who we do know. He goes on to explain that once you k...

Our Room

I am very blessed to have a sister that is so creative! If I had my way..... Well, our room wouldn't have any paint or decorations. It would be very dull and random.   We both agree'd that we wanted an "Old Library" feel to our room and Hailey and my Grandparents made that a reality. Our Grandpa made our shelves and Grandma painted our room. I have no doubt Hailey inherited some of her talents for decorating and painting from our Grandparents.   Hailey just continues to reveal so much talent and I don't even know the least of it. Enjoy the pictures of our room!

Don't give up.

Let me just say that I am still learning and growing in my relationship with God. I am far from perfect. What I've written in this post are things God has worked on my heart about, and I hope it's a blessing to you! 1 Peter 5: 5  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, st...
